Fireworks Picture 1 I put the camera down by my foot, angled it toward the sky, and clicked-away.

Fireworks Picture 2 It was quite a show. Mom layed down on the bleachers for a nice relaxing full-sky view.

Fireworks Picture 3 Being a fireworks guy (having sold them for years in Montana), I'd have to say it was a pretty good show.

Fireworks Picture 4 These pictures don't necessarily do the greatest job representing the show, but you get the idea.

Fireworks Picture 5 I hope you had a great fourth. I sure did!

Picnic Group Picture There's nothing like a picnic on the Fourth of July, now is there? We headed out into the heat (not knowing whether we could take it... loading up on ice and drinks beforehand), and were relieved to find out how cool it actual was at our picnic spot, right next to Boulder Creek. (If you don't know me, I'm the fella between the two gals [my Mom and my Sister].)

Buffy and Mom Picture Everyone seemed to be out enjoying the warm weather. There were lots of people floating the creek on tubes, which was fun to watch.

Buffy and Mark Picture Mom and I brought our cameras. The shots you see here are from my camera, of course. I'm looking forward to seeing Mom's as well.

After we'd filled up we walked over to Pearl Street, then headed for a quick pit-stop at home before heading over to Folsom Field to watch the big fireworks show.
